My theme for the magazine spread was to focus on portraits in black in white and in regular color while experimenting with different camera angles. I picked this theme because in the Beginner Photography Camp I did not have the chance to spend much time on portraits, and my goal in this camp was to try something new and have a focus. I knew taking portraits would be out of my comfort zone, and being in the studio for the first time taking portraits made the most sense for my personal project, and that’s why I picked it. My goal in this camp was to achieve a moody black and white vibe and capture pictures that show street style and have personality in regular color too. The photography techniques I used were monochrome and white balance.
