The theme of my spread was fashion, specifically with the purpose of improving my portraiture, as I have never done too much outside of nature and landscape photography. My goal was to get a set of photos similar to a series I had seen from Pinterest done for a Brazilian fashion magazine showcasing the Mandrake cultural movement, and they remained my core inspiration. While I did put a bit of an American spin on the style, it remained close. I primarily made use of natural light, spatial layers and placed the subjects in environments where the colors worked well. I also made use of color grading for each.
