Marcus was raised by two Californians in the outskirts of Detroit. Attending Renaissance High School as a senior, Marcus fell in love with storytelling. With strong empathy and respect for individuals' stories , Marcus’ goal with photography is to capture one's humanity. He holds pride in being that translator for others to be heard, to be seen, and especially to never be forgotten. Outside of photography, he enjoys all things art, music and anything that can tell someone how he’s doing without a word.
