With my advanced portfolio I opted for strictly black and white portraits. While picking this theme, keeping in mind my purpose for my photography, I chose black and white photos because it flushes the individual of color, makes their expressions more prominent, and with that, you are now forced to see this person in a more raw state. With not just these, but all my portraits, I want the viewer to look past the veil of superficiality and really get a feel for the work and the person photographed. Whether a person is feeling down, irritated, elated, sexy or sophisticated, in my work, you’ll know just what emotion it is, so with this spread please take the time to feel, interpret and enjoy.
