The theme I chose for my spread is the city of Detroit. I wanted to capture the beauty, movement, and personality of my city its buildings, its streets, and the people who bring it to life. Detroit is more than just where I live; it’s a place that has shaped who I am. Through my photos, I wanted to show the balance between its historic strength and the creativity that continues to grow here.

Taking these photos allowed me to look at my city differently and to notice details I might normally overlook. I focused on composition and lighting to highlight the unique architecture, textures, and faces that make Detroit special. My goal was to make people see the city the way I do: full of life, art, and stories. Photography gives me the chance to express myself while also celebrating the place and the people that inspire me every day.
